Fabric … Our material obsession
Whether you are stash-building or are on a fabric quest for a quilt project, feel free to browse the bolts on our shelves and the fat quarters in our baskets to meet your fabric fix. This is a material obsession of the most wonderful kind – as you indulge in the sheer joy of being in the presence of gorgeous colours and textures. And if you need any suggestions or tips on fabric matching, we are only too happy to help.
We carry 100% cotton and cotton/linen fabric from quality brands from the USA – among them Robert Kaufman; RJR, VIP.
We also have a range of cotton fabric and yard dyed fabric ("sakizome") from Japan’s top brands, among them Lecien, D’Selection and Olympus Kofu. This includes fabric designed by greatly sought after quilt artists Yoko Saito and Junko Matsuda which are just perfect for little pouches, bags or elegant taupe-accented quilts which speak of delightful woodlands or basketful of garden delights.
