Stack N' Whack Class

This is one of our most popular classes!! Let us help you choose the right fabric as part of the lesson. Experiment with the fabric and be pleasantly surprised with the results. No two kaleidoscope quilts will look the same. There is lots of fun ahead!
You will like this technique so much you will not stop at one quilts, as Stack 'N Whack fabrics will become irresistible. Rotary cutter and ruler are required for this class. Sewing will be done at home.

Bargello
Two lessons of 3 hours each, once a week
Cost $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

To join this class it would be best you have done the Colorwash class before. This class is based on the same technique but a little more challenging. You will like the way you can play with the waves and get to understand when to cut narrow strips and when to cut larger strip. Bargello can ideally be used as a background for lots of quilts where you applique some patterns onto it.

Convergence one Panel
Two lessons of 3 hours each, once a week
Cost: $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

Convergence: To come together so as to form a single product!
Work with a panel a companion and two accents, or just 4 different fabrics. You will need the same amount for each fabric.
Some experience in rotary cutting will help you a lot to slice all the different panels.
Bring your own sewing machine to both classes for more convenience. Else you also can rent our machine for a small fee.

French Geese
One two hour lesson
Cost $ 30 (Fabric and supplies not included)

Learn the easy method of the Flying Geese pattern. This technique saves on fabric as well as producing nice sharp points. With a few sewing lines and a few rotary cuts you will have four geese in no time.
This class teaches you only the technique borders are not included.
You will learn how to calculate the cutting size for any finished size of flying geese!
Make a nice country quilt with plaids or a sweet soft looking one with 1930s fabrics or even scraps out of your stash. A nice project for all skill levels.

Attic Window
Three lessons of 2 hours each, once a week Cost: $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

Discover all the different settings of an Attic Window design. You will learn a simple one with one horizontal sash and one vertical sash, and also the one with four sashes. If you want to be challenged, we will teach you the most intricate Attic Window quilt with sashes and ledges. You can use panels, theme prints, photo transfer, single appliqué or pieced blocks. The variations are endless. During the first lesson, we will teach you all the different styles and help you with your choice of fabric.

Cathedral Window 1
Three lessons of 2 hours each, once a week
Cost: $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

Cathedral Window combines machine sewing and hand sewing. This quilt has no batting but several layers of fabric and is ideal for a table cloth and a wall hanging. The fabric is rotary cut, but you can also use your scissors. Choose 2 plain fabrics or tone-on-tone together with a scenery fabric.

Use your skills acquired during the Cathedral Window Class and realize this beautiful cushion cover or an entire quilt.

Dresden Plate
Three lessons of 2 hours each, once a week
Cost: $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

Make a fantastic Dresden plate wall hanging or any size of quilt by using fuzzy cut fabric method. Each plate will have its unique design. Select a favorite spot on the fabric and repeat this spot 16 times using a see-through template. You can either machine or hand piece the wedges and hand appliqué the plates onto the background.

Garden Twist
Two lessons of 3 hours each, once a week
Cost: $ 85 (Fabric and supplies not included)

You wont believe it but Garden Twist is made with only 2 different blocks and is much easier then it looks like. A very fast project if you are rotary cutting. No need to cut triangles only squares! The Quilts and Friends pattern comes in different sizes and variations. During the first lesson, you will learn how to cut all the different pieces for the quilt, and to sew one of each block as sample to take home. And during the next lesson, you will learn how to calculate the set in triangles and corner triangles, and how to piece your quilt together.
